Jorge's Seafood Paella

Rated a 7.5 by Jorge, but I believe the consensus of the guests was higher.

Generally a 7.5 The paella to beat was the Oscars' paella. A solid 8.5 .. maybe an 8.75

These are the tougher scores. All the other paellas I have at restaurants have been a 5 or lower. This includes paellas in Spain at Spanish restaurants.

Also a favorite that evening was the 1998 Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape.   We opened that bottle while cooking and almost didn’t share.
